In 2011, the Government of British Columbia, and its public sector partners entered into a 10 year partnership with British Columbia's largest private employer TELUS. As part of the Telecommunication Services Master Agreement (TSMA), TELUS will provide telecommunication services to the province and its partners while enhancing and expanding existing coverage for services such as Cellular and Internet.

In 2013, the coalition of BC School Districts signed the TSMA Lite which provides the BC School Districts with access to certain benefits of the TSMA.

The GPS Client Portal has been established to provide a central point for the employees of the Government of BC and its public sector partners to access the products, services and reports included in the TSMA.
